All odds that are referenced in this article were taken from Bovada at 2:30 pm CT on 12/15/2017. These odds may have changed since the time of this writing.

I marched into yesterday’s NBA slate with a respectable 9-8 NBA player prop bet picks record and had little trouble adding to the win column.

Andre Drummond’s points/rebounds wager felt like free money and he obliged by topping a 30.5 Total with 12 points and 19 rebounds. That was a close call, but I wasn’t too worried due to Atlanta’s weak interior defense.

Spencer Dinwiddie also delivered, as he had me looking at a fun points/assists Total (21) and took care of business with (a career high) 26 actual points. He tacked on 7 assists for good measure.

LeBron James was my other big win, as the Cavs star had a terrific game against the Los Angeles Lakers. It seems everyone else was more worried about , but his performance was brilliant.

I was targeting a palatable assists/rebounds Total (18.5) and he blew it away with 12 rebounds and 12 assists on the night.

Dennis Schroder burned me for the second time and failed to convert on his points/assists prop bet (26.5). That was partially due to a blowout loss at home to the Detroit Pistons. Schroder otherwise was pretty productive, compiling 9 points and 10 dimes across 28 minutes.

Kristaps Porzingis also failed to deliver, but that was more due to injury. He was well on his way to nailing an ambitious 34.5 Total for points and rebounds but left with a knee injury after putting up 13 points and 2 rebounds through just 18 minutes.

Overall, I got out of Thursday night’s action with a 3-2 mark and any margin of profit is always well received. That boosted my overall player props record to 12-10 on the year and I’ll look to add to that ahead of Friday’s NBA betting slate.

Without further haste, here are my 5 favorite NBA player prop bets at Bovada for tonight’s huge 11-game schedule:

Kemba Walker Total Points (23)

The Charlotte Hornets return home from a two-game road trip, which provides star point guard Kemba Walker with a solid opportunity to fill it up offensively.

The Hornets as a whole play far better when at home and that can be said about Walker, too, as the veteran guard averages three more points per game (23) on his home floor.

Miami is rarely seen as an easy matchup, but Walker dropped 22+ points on this very defense three different times last year. He has a solid history against them and after not getting to face them earlier this year due to injury, I think he pops off a bit in this one.

He’ll at least hover around his average and I’d shoot for the Over.

Pick: Over 23 (-115)

Victor Oladipo Total Rebounds+Assists+Points (33.5)

I tried chasing this same ambitious prop bet with Zinger last night. That failed due to injury, but Andre Drummond converted a similar bet.

I really like Dipo’s chances here, as he’s Indy’s top scorer and constantly gets his hands in other stats. On the year he is literally averaging a 33 Total with these stats across two games against the Detroit Pistons.

Oladipo could face some Avery Bradley defense, but he’s at home and has a very versatile skill-set. I’d expect the points and assists to be pretty high in this one and I’ll shoot for the Over.

Pick: Over 33.5 (-115)

Rudy Gobert Rebounds Total (9.5)

The Utah Jazz have not been good lately, as they’ve dropped four in a row. Their defense has suffered during that stretch, as a once stout unit has given up 100+ points in all of those losses.

The return of a healthy Rudy Gobert was supposed to help that, but so far, no dice. I don’t know if that really changes on the road against the Boston Celtics tonight (Utah is 2-10 on the road this year), but I do like the upside associated with this Gobert rebounding wager.

Gobert averages over 10 rebounds per game on the year and will be battling A Horford down low on the glass. Provided he plays close to 30 minutes, Gobert has a chance to smash his season average tonight.

Pick: Over 95 (-135)

Eric Bledsoe Assists+Rebounds Total (8)

Another combination bet I really like resides with Eric Bledsoe, as Bovada asks us if he can total 8 rebounds and assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the chief playmaker for the Milwaukee Bucks, but Bledsoe has always been great at creating for himself and others.

I don’t see that stopping tonight, as the Bucks host the Chicago Bulls in what should be a favorable matchup. Bledsoe usually is known for his scoring, but he’s a solid rebounding guard and could get hot in the dimes category at any point.

Considering Bledsoe is averaging a 7.8 Total with these stats on the year, you’re looking at a pretty solid bet. With Bledsoe hitting this mark on the head in 3 of his last 4 games, I think it’s time he topped it.

Pick: Over 8 (-115)

Russell Westbrook Assists Total (10)

I’ll cap things off with a Russell Westbrook prop bet, which is shockingly my first of the year. This is the same guy that averaged a triple-double on the year last season, so you know he’s a threat for this mark.

Even better, Russ is averaging 9.9 dimes per game on the year right now and has a really nice matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers. Westbrook has responded to Oklahoma City’s struggles by taking over much like he did last year, so logic suggests that will lead to a lot of peripherals.

Assists certainly fit in there for Russ, who has topped this exact mark 5 times in his last 7 games. Westbrook is dialed in and knows he needs to set his teammates up if the Thunder are going anywhere this year. Look for him to do that early and often and smash the Over tonight.

Pick: Over 10 (-115)
